my mother had 3 boyfriends when she was my age.
all at the SAME time.
so im sitting here wondering, is that even possible?
did she actually have relationships with 3 different dudes at the same time?
and (more importantly), because my mother did it, does it make it okay if i ever decide to do the same thing?
i like boys.
i like them a lot.
but i dont want a boyfriend.
its possible that i want a few of them though.
its nice to have options...variety...
i can pick a guy depending on my mood, or what kind of night i want to have.
i think i might try this out.
im seriously considering it.
does that make me an asshole?

and no it doesn't make you an asshole. it is okay for people our age to have open, not so serious relationships.
we're not old enough to settle down and while that might work for some, we shouldn't delude ourselves into thinking that's what we're supposed to be doing. your twenties are all about having fun and being free, bound by little responsibility.
sure it could make you an asshole, but not if you're good about it and there is a way to be good about it. be sure that none of the people you're seeing expect more from you than you're willing to offer. be clear about your intentions, but vague about your actions.
